Goodbye Year 2006...

itz the last day of 2006.....all i can sae is "wow.."
each yr, i know i will not fail to say "how time flies..." haha
yr 06 has been eventful..well..not tht previous yrs werent..haha.. juz tht...some of the events were things tht happened once in a lifetime.....
...like death. it affected me alot..n i wished i could fully understand..but i guess we're made to depend on God especially when we face trials tht is beyond understanding. it still hasnt been overcome..but i know im trusting Him each day...knowing tht i will survive. =]
besides tht, personally, there were alot of crazy moments tht led to buckets of tears...there juz seemed to be no way out...now i finally understood whenever ppl say the older we get, the more problems we face..haha... how true! well, im learning to tk it in my stride....struggling.....though i alwiz wish im peterpan ~
with all the difficulties i face each day, more often than not i lie awake at nite... juz telling God how i long to see Him face to face... He being juz in front of me..where im able to talk to Him, asking Him about anything at all..and get an instant reply.
yes, we're able to call on Him whenever and wherever... but as for the reply...i guess all of us are struggling... v often getting frustrated over the wait...it is alwiz the hardest part... i believe God's timing is the best and therez no doubt about it. patience is bitter, but its fruit is sweet. hmmm...letz juz trust in Him, yea? =]
but of cozz...it has been a fun-filled yr... my 2nd yr studying in Melaka.. still being very involved wif MMUCF.. therez alwiz so much fun n craziness to look forward to..heehee.. not forgetting all the great ppl.. =] wat is studying in mlk w/o all of uuu?!...... =D
i thank God for his faithfulness each day... for bringing me through each day no matter how boring the lectures were, how bad the weather was, or how annoyed i was feeling... i really wanna thk God for making me happy all over again. =]
looking forward to a brand new yr...i hope to be a better human being on earth..haha.. a better daughter(er-hem!) a better sister(nyek nyek nyek!) a better student(O.o) ..n of coz a better friend to all of uuu! =D
above all, i hope to be a more obedient child of the One tht loves me most. =]

really interesting to see the extravagant palace lifestyle.. but i was abit puzzled..all the actresses' dressing was kinda revealing...see also eyes will pop out wan..hahahaa =P
..superb actors: Chow Yun Fatt, Gong Li and Jay Chou!
n once again, director, Zhang Yimou did a great job.. =]
nway, good thing my dad insisted on watching after reading abt it in the newspapers...hee...good family movie.. =D

Bless The City 2006

MMUCF had the priviledge to perform a cantata in Melaka Megamall, Dataran Pahlawan last nite.. =]
we performed a series of christmas songs plus naration with the accompaniment of our very own live band! =D

had a really good time there... really blessed to be able to sing for God in a public place like this... thk God for no complications wif the authorities =D =D

right after the whole event, someone approached our pastor n invited us to sing at a hotel in jonker..n we agreed. so, we went off to Hotel Puri and sang at the lobby and the garden =D it was somehow very satisfying to see the hotel guests smiling and enjoying the carols.. =]

after dat, pastor told us tht we'll be goin to a nearby cafe to sing..haha..n so, we went on..and once again sang our hearts out for the ppl there =D =D

truly wanna thk God for this opportunity to bless the city, literally..tht we may let everyone know tht Christmas is not about the presents, santa, reindeers or snow..but it is solely about the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ many years ago..who came to save us all.

had 8am class...sungguh mengilakan lah...sho sleepy... den reached lecture hall, the lights dim dim wan.. coz we alwiz complain cannot see slides...haha..best~

after class...was edi kinda nervous..got a test at noon..so, tried to study study... end up staring at the papers oni..haha.. nway, thk God i was able to do...yeahh =D
after the test, i was still nervous..sebab ada debate at 4pm..one of the subject's assignment lor =]
nervous till like wanna puke..i duno y.... itz like the whole semester i had been so relaxed....no stress... until today. suddenly i feel the load.. hahaha... funny lah... n once again, thk God! managed to open my mouth n speak..but was kinda speaking fast today..hurhur...
nway, our team won the debate..heehee...
the motion was 'scientific discoveries have made human lives better'..
we were the opposition team.. roxx~

headed home to bathe..den zoom off to MP alone to ransack Esprit.. hoho! got a special coupon where i could get 50% off..all in a single receipt..

so i spent quite a while inside..tot of getting some baju lah..mana tau most of it was discounted items...means i cant use the coupon to get half price.. so, i had no choice but to turn to accessories.. got wallets n a bag..plus a shirt for bro n a really cool esprit umbrella!..can press press the button to open n close the payung..super convenient o.. =D

had to zoom back to bear hill as soon as i finished shopping...met up wif bro for dinner..den it was the xmas cantata prac.. tried out at the place itself, Dataran Pahlawan,Melaka Megamall =D

Sang Doo! Let's Go To School!

i juz finished watching this korean drama... it took me abt one month.... took my own sweet time to watch... =]
i first started watching coz of Rain...haha...yeahh..huge fan of him...thx to another drama i watched earlier by Rain as well entitled 'Full House'..
and once again i was deeply touched by the storyline... i would say tht i enjoyed Sang Doo LGTS more.. better story line than Full House..but FH is funnier.. =D
nway, im once again abit lagging... this drama actually came out in 2003.haha.
it is actually about a dad (Rain) who is a highsch drop-out...working as a gigolo in order to earn enough to pay for his sick daughter's hospital bills..n later on finds out tht she isnt his real daughter..throughout the story, he has problems with reuniting with his first love. =]
i cried alot during the ending la....haihh....shld catch this drama... highly recommended! =D

nway, DEC is here...whee!! edi received some prezzies n given some...heehee..looking forward to a special xmas this yr! =D

today's a good day... =]
jason leong n sam reached jb this morn...woke up n brought them out for breakfast...had our fav dimsum.. yumss~
after eating, we came back to rest...watched 'Akeelah and the Bee'... itz a movie about a girl who has the gift for spelling..n she eventually went to the national spelling bee competition..really good movie.. =D
after dat, soly n i brought them both to Tebrau City, the largest shopping complex in jb...jalan jalan..makan makan =D
went back to rest after dat coz the 3 guys hav to drive at nite... so, while they slept, i went out wif me mum to get some stuff done =D
sheau lan picked us up around 5 to go for pedicure! haha..my first time! my toes are weli pretty now..hahaha =D
after dinner at schumann, all of us came back to watch singapore chinese drama.. got sam n jason watching very attentively, especially grandpa sam who was very happy abt the english subtitles! =P
we left for Senai airport around 10pm..reached there juz in time to welcome the KK mission team back to west msia! jason prepared a cool 'banner' for them.. will post the pics as soon as i get them! thk God they are all still in one piece! =D
n so, they're on their way back to Melaka now... =]

Uniquely Singapore

juz got back to jb from the 'lion city'...was der for the past 4 days...had loads of fun, food, fellowship n sleeeeep..but im still super duper tired..~
invaded my parents room tonite coz of the tv n tel. line...hehe..they're still in sg..kaka.. =D
this trip to sg, i felt more of a tourist than any trips b4...hehe
there were less shopping..n more of visiting places...
went to Mt. Faber (i wouldnt say itz a mount..haha) n also Sentosa =D
never been to these two places b4..haha..so, i had to!
actually it wasnt planned...juz tht when we got up Mt. Faber, our cuzie was showing us where sentosa is from there..den somehow we decided to go the following day..haha..

so, after church on sun morn, we headed to sentosa island by cable car from Mt. Faber...first stop in sentosa was the Carlsberg Sky Tower which brought us high up into the sky, 131 metres above sea level to get a good view of sg... =D

next we went to watch the 4D show... pretty interesting lor.. hv to wear cute specs, seats moving, sound effects from each of our own seats right behind our ears, water sprinkled on us, plus irritating thingy buzzing at our heads..haha..
after dat we went for Sentosa Luge & Skyride.. i also duno how to describe (juz click the link)..but it was very very fun... drove the luge real fast! almost crashed into another gal..ahahaha.. n the skyride was really nice laa..so high up as well.... =D

went to the beaches as well..there are 3 beaches there..fav one is Siloso Beach..gonna look forward to go there play vball someday! =D

we did some crazy stuff on a hanging bridge there...we were jumping around on the bridge n we got scolded by an old lady walking in front of us.. hahahahaha
..we still carried on being goofy... =P
left sentosa abt 7pm... =D
overall, the trip was crazy...i doze off everynite very easily..itz like my energy was being fully utilized each day..lala
had superyummylicious food everyday as well..rox~
met up wif Meihui n Jill today...we ate n we shopped! =D

i think i killed a kitten while reversing out from the porch.sigh.
i think the kitten was sleeping behind my front left tyre. i din know.
i tot i ran over a slipper. no,it wasnt.
i saw the kitten lyin down with its tail waggin up n down when i was out of the porch. i called soly to rescue. i was running late so i left.
he told me he transferred the kitten outside. i've yet to check if its still alive. hur hur hur.
i waited 4 hrs for my muet speaking test.

they were so nice to accompany me watch the grand finale of One In A Million...woOts! n of cozz, SUKI won!!! =D
had gal-talk staying up late wif the two of them while the other two were snoozing away peacefully...hee...

next day, woke up pretty late....headed to jonker for brunch... wanted to go Calanthe..but belum buka..so, we jalan jalan for a while...shop shop...
while we were in a shop near the special-cendol-wif-lotsa-gula-melaka shop, it started raining... so, we decided to run to the special-cendol-wif-lotsa-gula-melaka shop to eat instead... =]
they tried the nyonya asam laksa n cendol ..thumbs-up!! =D
we dropped by at Calanthe for coffee b4 leaving jonker.. =]

after dat, we visited historical places - Studhuys, St.Paul's Hill, A'Famosa =]

next, it was pork satay time!!
b4 heading home to rest, managed to tour MMU due to popular demand.. fwahahaha~

after much rest, we were all geared up for satay celup feast for dinner.... sadly, Capitol wasnt open...i dunno y...i tot edi done wif renovation... =(
nway, we went to try out another shop (not so nice to mention the name lah) which i strongly do not recommend to anyone.... nothing beats Capitol mann!!! heehee..
Moon Luck's satay celup stall wasnt open also... we ended up at Bunga Raya... eating 'O-chien' (fried oysters+eggs)... n it rained V V V heavily...~
again, by popular demand,they wanted some 'yu char kuey' n 'ham chim peng' n 'beh hui chi' for supper! they love it ler.. (ask me if u wanna know where to get it!) ..haha
n so...we headed home in the rain....n guess wat we did???

ohyea...managed to hv a video-conference wif the missing jaebiebabe, shirlaine! miss her alot lot lot o.. =]

sun morn, yixuan was the first to leave early in the morn... jill accompanied me to send her off at mlk sentral...hee im alwiz so proud of mlk sentral lahh... sho nice!.. we had to lepak there for 1 hr to wait for yixuan's bus..but we didnt mind at all! =D
n so, she left for KL to meet her parents... while jill n i headed home to the other 2piggiess...bought some bread back... n guess wat we did while waiting for jill's sis to come pick them up???

dropped them off at the ayer keroh toll at around 1.. *sobs..

all in all, i accomplished my duty which was to feed them wif anything i could think of..haha..too bad they missed Jonker at night n the Capitol satay n also ikan bakar...but therez alwiz another time....wif the missing jaebiebabe! =D

attended the International Biz students' Peace Night juz now...organized by the GLOBIZZ Enterprise ..n their obj was to promote world peace! really enjoyed the performances.. =D and the choir sang really well todae too! haha...my fav was the lil' kindergaten kids..laughed alot when they were doin their sketch...awesome!!

ohyea....4 jaebiebabes are comin to town tmr for the weekend..woohoo!! i hope i wont get sacked as the tourguide.. gonna feed them fat fat!! heehee~

this very talented wildlife expert left us last week due to a somewhat peculiar fatal attack by a stingray which pierced him in the chest when he was filming a documentary at the Great Barrier Reef. juz dun understand why they gave him CPR instead of stopping the bleeding during the incident..sigh.

btw, i juz finished watching 5hrs of Crocodile Hunter on astro..they've been showing a crocodile hunter marathon in remembrance of Steve since early this afternoon. =]

actually b4 this i dun really watch crocodile hunter..mebe juz a couple of times when i was channel-surfing..haha.. but today as i watched, i came to realized tht he was indeed a very passionate conservationist..a crazy wan as well..haha...

according to steve, he's an educator...however he doesnt teach from books, instead he brings the subject mattered right to us. =]

i guess now i gotta say tht he BROUGHT all the reptiles right to our tv screen..really admired tht courage n passion. =]

indeed am glad tht Steve did all tht he had done...he certainly has made alot of difference to the wildlife...itz truly a loss to those who had been enjoying his documentary all this while as well as the wildlife...coz he's been constantly saving them...hee..

gonna miss him and his enthusiasm...*sobs.

got a call from dad this afternoon while taking a nap...was told tht grandma passed on today....kinda shocked...but yet..not really...coz she's kinda old d..abt 80 or more...i also not sure..haha...

nway, i really really did enjoyed all my vball classes.... had a really good coach to teach us...we alwiz had abt 1 hr of lecture first b4 heading to the vball court for 2hrs of practical...so thz 3 hrs of vball-ing every week!! =D
if anyone were to ask me wat to tk for cocu...u know wat i'd say lahh....

wanted to post last nite...but merdeka day ended wif happy rain + happy thunder..so no internet for me.. =D
nway, itz been a long time since i post abt one day of my life..haha...kinda lazy lah...thtz y my post all short short nowadays... den those who read my blog also happy lah..no need read so much rite?..kaka

the day started off really well...had Inter-CGs Games at mmu basketball court..we played captain ball and also a built-and-whack-using-slippers game..haha

towards the end of it, we had a bday cake cutting ceremony at the court itself for Lilo and Joachim..heee..no pics on tht..too excited liao... not my bday also.. hahahha!

when i got home, saw tht the porch was dirty...decided to wash it... and when i was done, i saw tht the gates were dirty.. decided to wash it too.. ahaha... u muz be wondering... crazy gal~ nway, i enjoyed it coz the sun was shining bright... when i was done, i was 'cao ta' edi.hahhaahahaha! =D =D =D

had a short nap b4 heading to UG for dinner wif some peeps..hehe.. den got home and watched Incredibles on tv..haha...2nd time watching it..still so cute lah.. hee

at 11pm...some of us were playing badminton.. itz been some time... so, it was nice whacking again... :)

so the day ended wif a blackout due to the heavy downpour..but i slept like a pig anyway....haha~

thtz all for merdeka day.. u realized i din do anything concerning merdeka...haha... mebe juz the font colors lah..ahahhahaaha.. =P
