The rescreening of this movie has been organized to honour the memory of the late film director, Yasmin Ahmad... didnt catch it when it came out early this year so was really glad to be able to watch it yesterday :) it's another highly controversial production by Yasmin, yet again... essential for the Malaysian souls.

...a story full of joy and pain, hope and despair, a host of beautifully-written songs, and rich, rich characters.
