one short morning session and a nite concert! =D
Kuantan youth are totally awesome!! it is truly encouraging to see them worship and jumping like there's no ceiling! thk God for these young hearts :)
Thk God also tht it was possible for us to play well as a team although we only had 2 practices, but only 1 really proper one..woohoo!
the whole trip was really nice lah :)
with these jokers around, there's no boredom wan..haha
...and Pastor Joanne's notorious driving tht made all of us hold on tight in our seats as we pray for God's divine protection every time she tried to overtake other cars getting in her way.....
haha..
plus, guess who joined us as well??

she actually endured the 5hr-long journey to Kuantan and back..
..part of the journey spent in the cage at the back of the car n the other half of the journey in her little basket on the co-driver's lap! haha..n u could hear pastor kept talking to her like a little baby...awwwwww..

What: MMU Chinese Song Composing Competition 2008
Where: MMU Main Hall
When: 6th April 08, 8pm
thank uu for all of your support!!! =D
Mr. Fred Low wrote a chinese song
entitled
'Yu Chong Man Pu' (translation: Slow Walk Under the Rain)
he submitted the song in for this competition,
got into the finals,
n there we were, playing our hearts out on stage
as the 1st contestant for the nite..haha..
thk God for granting us victory!
we got the
'Best Song Arrangement' award!!
there were 12 finalists altogether..
the nite was full of emo love love songs..haha..
it was my first time attending such an event in campus,
it was fun lah :D

last weekend felt like a mini holiday for me, having to travel to Kuantan, hv lots of fun, coming back to Mlk late at nite, plus the song-writing competition on sunday nite...haha.. i guess wat made it all so satisfying was tht i was able to do something that i truly enjoy, tht is playing music :)
and it is only possible becoz of God's gift for me..throughout all these, i truly experienced His constant guidance whenever i play the bass n strive for perfection..He deserve nothing less.
for a bassist who constantly gets blisters on her fingers most of the time she plays, i thank God for His perfect timing, i did not get any during the weekend becoz my skin had hardened from the previous week's blisters..haha..
it was really shiok to play with all my heart, blister-lessly!!! =D
thank God for this little extraordinary weekend tht has painted a little rainbow in my life over life's routine. my life was indeed getting so monotonous..n wat better remedy than to serve Him with wat i can do best.
